Ordered online from DoorDash, it took a long time but it was worth the wait. Got the crispy boneless chicken in hot spicy. It is SO SPICY but delicious. Thank God they send you pickled radish with it. I think this place is better than bbq chicken.. which was my favorite. Will order from here again.
This 30+ year OG from Korea never disappoints. And this location does a great job. Crispy is super crispy, yangnyum sauce is representative of what it's supposed to taste like.
Good place for Korean fried chicken - I actually preferred the crispy fried chicken as opposed to the saucy chicken. Very convenient experience with iPads to order on, servers are very helpful. I also really liked their hallabong (sumo citrus) drink.
I tried their regular fried chicken. Solid. 100% hit the spot. It was a bit dry, but that may be partly due to the fact that I got it to-go and didn't eat it right away. The only reason for the 4/5 instead of 5/5. Service is very customer-friendly. Food comes out super quick and their staff are great - one opened the door for me as I entered to get my pick-up order. So suave!
This is my new favorite Korean fried chicken place!! The chicken is super popular in Korea and I'm so glad there's one in Koreatown, La! The servers and the staff is very nice and attentive! William and Daniel was helping me out and they were super sweet!! Thanks for being so kind and friendly! The service was awesome! They needs a raise for how hard they work! The ambiance in here is very nice as well! Also have big screen tvs to watch the dodgers game! Thank you for the great experience! Will be back soon! I recommend this place to everyone!
Pelicana has some of the best Korean Fried Chicken. Just reminiscing about the food to write this review is making my mouth water... but fr the chicken is absolutely delicious. Careful on the spice level as even the smoky hot is enough to leave a tingle on my tongue and my policy is if it's not making me sweat it's not hot enough. This location isn't usually packed when we go so I definitely wouldn't say it gets too loud. Great place for a casual meet up with friends or a non romantic date night.
